Battlefield 3 PC vs PS3 Comparison

Just a quick graphics comparison I made between the PC and PS3 version of Battlefield 3.I took the PC footage from the Fault Line trailers and the PS3 footage is from "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon".The song is from Remo Baldi and it's called "The Theater,The Dream,The Battlefield".

Well the PS3 footage really does not look that much better than MW2 to me, and it's dissapointing that the multiplayer is only 24 players on consoles. These 2 facts may result in me getting MW3 for the still good-looking and extremely smooth gameplay.

@gamer4ever77 Well,it has more players,bigger maps and destruction.There are also hardware limitations - the consoles run on 5-6 year old hardware.I still don't get it how can people ask of 64 players on consoles.I know they want the same version,but in this case that's not possible.I woudn't worry if I were you - the console versions will be awesome.And I'm just glad the PC gamers are finally getting some attention from the devs. :)

@gamer4ever77 The difference between the PC and console versions is hardly noticeable though, despite PCs being so much more powerful.

@mckevstah1 PC gamers are getting constantly screwed by developers with simplified games,horrible console ports,delays etc. And when a game that's made for PC is coming out,you say that DICE are biased?PC gamers don't deserve a good game,just because you have a console? Please understand,that the consoles have hardware that's 5-6 YEARS OLD.I'd say that BF3 looks pretty good when you know that pretty much everything in the game can be destroyed.

@tazss159 PC is just better, get the point. Why? Its like an console but with much more better hardware in it. You can even use the ps3 or xbox360 controller on PC's if you want too, but a mouse is more precise. PC has superior details, also at distance. And since its much more powerful, you can do 64 players maps. Plus no lag, also 60 Frames per second instead of 30. Meaning smoother gameplay. You have to see the PC version in real, you'll notice it in no time that its definitely better.

@TheMostWanted92 It's disappointing though, since PCs are so much more powerful and yet the console version of Battlefield 3 looks just as good if you install the HD texture pack.

always the complains of the console gamers, we pc gamers pay more for our gaming platform so we at least deserve the benefits.

trouble is i'v been playing playstation since the first console and all my friends have a ps3 so switching means they have to get the game on pc too but ill loose all my trophies and achievements.
