  • In 1776, there was a little snippet of US history, called the American Revolution. Any land deals made in 1648 under the British occupiers should have been revoked since the US constitution (the supreme law of the US after 1777) clearly bans the selling of Indian land. Montauk Point was Indian territory until Easthamptoners decided to steal and sell the last vestige in 1879 by declaring that British law granting them ownership superseded the US constitution! How patriotic was that?

  • Montuak was taken from the Indians, not bought.

  • Yup

  • Camp Hero.

  • What about the Fort Hero operations??
