Check it out on HD ITS MUCH BETTER! After looking at SpeedSix's thread on srk, I got the urge to make a quick video! Speed Six was basically talking about how he plans to set up certain training room exercises in order to focus on his execution and build his consistency.

I guess this is just my take on that!

  • I see you have full meters when training links. For some reason, I occaisionally get an unintentional Super when trying to do an SRK. Just curious, which motion do you use: the traditional or df df?

  • Straight traditional method man...just takes time and practice....be sure your going to forward from the crouch position instead of down forward....that will definitely get a super instead of a DP

  • As Ryu I think his cr. jab to cr. fierce is really hard to get down; I'll keep practicing but in the meantime I substitute MP for fierce.

  • Keep practicing those links! Cr. fierce was hard to get down, but I think now I'm finally used to it!

  • I'm a complete newbie to the street fighter series & wasn't ready for the technical subtleties this game offers. Losing time & again almost every match, it was only natural to say to myself " Ah just quit playing ! This game is too hard for you ! ".

But then I watched your videos. They inspire me to try harder ! Sure I still lose almost every match, but following your various tips, I can try & be better. So thank you for your videos ! We will always be eagerly waiting for more from you :)

  • Time to go and pwn some training dummies. Thx.

  • These are great videos! Very useful although the cr. LP, cr. HP is a very difficult link to master. Especially when you throw the cr. LK at the beginning and the HK Tatsu at the end. Working on these B&Bs though so hopefully I'll improve!

  • Actually helped me out just now thanks

  • i just thought of a pretty simple training drill. when i'm cornered and want to get out with an air tatsu, i sometimes rush the roundhouse to try and get maximum lift. when i don't complete the qcb input, an early jumping roundhouse comes out instead and i get punished in the 8 frames i surrender control over on landing. using negative edge for the tatsu eliminates this vulnerability should you miss and allows you to block on frame 1 of landing or create block-stun with a late aerial.

  • great videos man, i definitely picked up a handful of helpful pointers while watching. as far as counter hit training goes, how is that different from practicing hit confirming your combos? a counter hit would visually register the same as an unblocked hit.

  • Your vids are pretty awesome, especially for noobs like me, please make more soon!

  • You used that fhp combo on me at Gameworks haha.

  • For dragon punches, do you use the short cut or the z movement?

  • Excellent Video!

    A few questions though:

1)How long do you spend time in the training room? (# of hours and # days a week)

2)Does it matter which character to use as a dummy (Big chars. like Sagat or small ones like Cammy)?

3)Do you need to know ALL the BnB combos for your character, or just the ones that do the most damage, considering there are some BnB combos that really stink.

Thanks for input and keep making these great videos! :)

  • VERY EFFECTIVE

  • great stuff, very practical
