Mike Reilly was a pretty good host, unfortunately he just seemed like everyone's younger brother and didn't have a strong enough presence (or voice). He certainly does have enthusiasm though; too bad Merv didn't remember him for Crosswords.

Yep, brings back great memories. Merv originally wanted to do this as a series with Peter Tomarken as host, from what I've read.

I remember this game show...it used to air with SUPER JEOPARDY! Both game shows were like filler programming on Saturday or Sunday night for an hour and then they both went off the air together.
