Bets on the Pass Line can be made anytime during the game. Before a Point is established is the most advantageous time, that's the Come Out Roll. If 7 or 11 roll the Pass Line wins even money. If 2, 3 or 12 roll the Pass Line loses. If any other number rolls, it becomes the Point,(4,5,6,8,9,10). Now that a Point has been established, you can put 'Odds' behind your Pass Line bet. If 7 rolls, you lose your Pass Line bet and your Odds. If the Point rolls, you win both Pass Line and Odds. (any other number rolls there is no action on the Pass Line or Odds). If the Point rolls, you get paid Even Money for the Pass Line and you get paid odds on the Odds that you wagered. If the Point is 4 or 10 they pay 2 to 1 odds on the Odds. If the point is 5 or 9 they pay 3 to 2 on the Odds and if the point is 6 or 8 they pay 6 to 5 on the Odds. You cannot remove or decrease the wager on the Pass Line while there is a Point. (you can increase it). You CAN remove or decrease your Odds wager anytime. You can increase your Odds wager only according to the 'House Rules'. The dealer can tell you the maximum you're allowed to wager. p.s. If you want to get paid the same odds as the Pass Line AFTER a Point has been established, bet the Come. The Pass Line and the Come both pay True Odds on your odds wager. The 'flat bet' always pays even money on both. To get paid odds you must wager Odds.
