  • @hickok45 I just bought the same series 80 as you. I have large hands and when i shoot it the grip safety pinches me and makes me bleed. Does this eve happen to you? Could i be holding it wrong or are my hands to big? should i consider a beavertail?

  • @TheChamberofFarts , No, I've never had a pinching problem with grip safeties. I do get hammer bite sometimes with the old original 1911 beavertail if I don't hold my thumb out just right.

  • @hickok45 I noticed that does not have a full length guide rode, does that make a difference to you sir in life of the product and maintenance?

  • @Morepullups, I can't imagine myself ever buying a 1911 with a full length guide rod. Just not necessary.

  • Best Intro's and video's!

  • @hickok45 Thank you for that information sir.

  • @TheRagingFoxhound Colt, hands down. But Springfield armory makes a nice 1911 also s

  • Hickock45. I am very interested in purchasing a 1911. Money is not an issue. Being that there are tons of 1911s to choose from, what manufacturer would you say is the "best" to choose from."

    Thank you in advance.

  • I am in looking to purchase a 1911, i have about 1,000 to spend, there are sooo many 1911s to choose from, I was looking at the Colt railguns or the Colt gold cup trophy. What do you recommend? Thanks!!!

  • Another great vid. Thanks for showing what a waste it is to "duel wield" any type of gun. They got it right with twin, quad, and 3x3 .50's. But it may only work with twin semi auto shotguns or "double duelist" with single action revolvers (hint hint) now that would be pretty fun to watch.
