  • do i need to overclock the cpu too? or can i just overclock the card itself? i have a evga gtx 570 and an i7 940 at 2.93, if i do overclock the cpu to like 3.4-3.6 does it make a difference?

  • @QuantumBladeGun no you don't have to oc the cpu but it will help. you'll go up in fps a little bit and get more stable fps at the same time.

  • you sure can. Use it as a reference for yourself and then go from there. Every card is different so you might need more voltage or less.

  • Your cpu is running at 4.5ghz all the time? Mine runs at 4.4ghz. I leave intel speedstep on so it down clocks to 1600 when im not doing much. Let it run low when idle man, your chip will last longer!

  • @Sp33dDem0n1 yes true but i don't keep the machines long enough to worry about it. every 6 months or less i sell it and buy a new one.

  • let me ask u a question :) i got 890/1780/2000 @ 1,074V . im running bf3 for three hours and max temp is 68°C. average of 63°C ingame is nice :) with the phantom edtion (3fans) and a good case cooling im sure i can push further. u think pushing shade+core is better then getting the memory around 2200?

  • @blackopsphiL Yes the core + shaders will give you more of a boost then the memory.

  • Sorry dude, I missed your entire video because I was too busy laughing at every "uhm" and counting 5 seconds afterwards to predict your next one just making it infinitely funnier! ^_^ but uhm... I'm sure it was a good uhm.. informational video =D

P.S. my asus gtx 570 dcu2 is stable as a mofo @ 4.65GHz, thinking about trying for more - if I can use that much.

  • I got a gtx 570 Phantom

    850/1700/2000 at 1050v?
