I have a manual too and I always leave it in gear, just in case!

i have a manual transmission and sometimes i dont use the parking brake or put it in gear. however my rear brakes do stick a bit but not much :)
if im on a hill that is 20* then i have to put it in first and pull the parking brake all the way or it will roll(FORD FAIL!!)

I had a 99 Volvo wagon (long gone as we replace the cars every 2 to 4 years) roll backwards out of a parking space. It was an automatic and even though I left it in drive, it shouldn't have rolled. There were many cars parked behind me but it rolled right into an empty parking space. Talk about luck, it could have killed a pedestrian. I brought it to Volvo as it was a year old under waranty and they did find a defect they repaired. Whew!!!! Sheer luck so use the emerg brake always.

Did the car roll out of the spot? or did someone push that car out of the spot? lol whatever the reason is, is funny looking. The Honda is is like the odd one out of the bunch
