Media students and those employed in news journalism would probably find this skit more humourous than others.

Shaun Micallef and Kym Gyngell demonstrate the worst possible TV news interview techniques one can achieve in the space one and a half minutes, in this sketch from the popular 90's Aussie TV show, Full Frontal.

Comedians:
Shaun Micallef
Kym Gyngell
Kitty Flanagan

Full Frontal was a highly praised Australian sketch comedy series which debuted in 1993. The show first aired on the Seven Network on May 13, 1993 and finished September 15, 1997.

  • lol... comes from off screen halfway through the interview lol

  • Thankyou francis

  • Ive seen some beautiful things and some humourous thing! (shakes head) and Ive also seen some dispicable acts! (laughs)....

    Bloody classic! LMAO

  • So whats Kym doing these days ?

  • @HoShiiJii Yes I know. I was actually being sarcastic as the uploader felt the urge to empathize that media students and those employed in news journalism would find this funny, but those of us not involved in this particular field might just possibly ''miss the joke''. But thanks for taking the time to explain this segment to me.

  • @angels77100 It's an editing joke. News shows use "cut-aways" to cover when they splice together different sections of an interview, sometimes in a way that is more distracting than simply leaving the clips together.

This takes that to the extreme in order to mock it.

  • I don't get it. I don't get the joke. Then again I'm not a Media student nor am I involved in News Journalism. Maybe I should stick to watching Jim Carey's hilariously funny face-pulling antics, or Jack Black's amazingly rude humor. As an American I guess that's all I can really laugh at.

  • classic!

  • HAHAHAHAAA!!!!

    these guys are the best!!!
