Turkish and kazakh people are different nations with strongly different culture. Yes, we have the same past and some similarities in the language, but about 15 centuries we faced radically different historical circumstances. Kazakhs are naturally tengrians and shamanists and had this culture even before the mongol intervention. Kazakhs are hundred times closer to yakuts, tuvins and other altaic turks, it's prooved by scientists. Oguz and southern turks are quite different from northern altaic.
