It's not just about the head-to-head. Houston has looked unremarkable over the back half of the season. They got drubbed by Minnesota and New England and had unimpressive showings against Detroit and Jacksonville. Meanwhile, Denver has won 10 straight by an average of two TDs. They're the better team RIGHT NOW, which is all that matters in a power ranking.

yes and I was critizing the power rankings at the time because there was no reason to put dever in front of houston based on their head to head even if they are hot. now however after that dreadful performance against Minnesota I can't really complain that much anymore.

um who got blown out in their own stadium for 2.5 quaters of the game Denver. so again I state its like saying Dallas is better then washington right now because they are playing better then they did back at thanksgiving. and guess what Dallas made the score alot closer then the game should of been too.

Denver had the ball at the end of that game with a chance to score. Do you really think a 6 point win in week 3 is a legit reason to have them ahead? Who has a higher ranked offense and defense? Hint: it's Denver. Who has looked more impressive since that game? That one is pretty obvious too.
