  • @jasonHadley420 a fibreglass blown-in wouldn't settle but yes your right, cellulose does settle a few inches after the first few days. and injection and spray foam are the same are they not? its an extruded poly insulation.

its still cheaper to do batt, then do an extruded rigid insulation on the exterior. im not saying sprayfoam/injection isn't a great product, just expensive. very expensive. plus in the next few years new build homes wont use OSB anymore, just 2" rigid for sheathing.

  • @Acidburn24 that insualtion doesnt do anything... Injection Foam is the best way to go... its not spray foam its injection foam.. theres a difference Cellulose Settles and loses its R-value almost instantly

  • cellulose is a joke and it settles after a while... spray foam and injection foam never settle...... ive work for a insulation company for years and have taken many classes...trust me on this... Spray faom and inject foam is the best thing you could ever do to your house

  • its not flammable at all.. its 75% water... i know cause i make it for our company everyday...

  • where did u get the video

  • Are there any Homesulate distributors in Florida?

  • @HomeEnergyNow gotta love how they are doing the sprayfoam on an already to code house that has r-20 batt insulation in it.

i did the pricing on sprayfoaming my house and i could pay about $500 to do blown-in cellulose or pay 2000-3000 to have this done. this is a purchase that will never pay itself off in my opinion.

  • If 50-60% of your wall is windows, doors, studs, and plates, how exactly does an insulation only making up 40-50% of your wall going to stop sound "up to 80%". Sales pitches quoting inflated numbers like every number stated here only make a product harder to purchase.

  • Flame retardant only after the foam is cured..It is flammable as hell during the installation process!

  • These dumb asses just washed water down the inside of the wall...What a jack ass!
