A Scandinavian breeze is blowing through the exhibition halls at BioFach 2009: Organic is a major issue in Denmark, but not a new one. The country has been one of the organic pioneer nations since the 80s, and this has not changed much up to the present. The market share for organic products is a proud 6.5 per cent, with 30 per cent for fresh milk. Six per cent of all Danish agricultural land is used for organic farming.
