This song is a part of Hayakawa's "Shoujo Series" (Girl Series). There are 6 songs in the series right now, and I am slowly translating them all. This is a part of the second group of songs that Hayakawa released, and is probably the darkest of them all.

The Longing for the Reality of the Science Girl (which I have translated: http://youtu.be/CcIgItl19d8) is in the series.

Since it seems like Len never gets the girl/a happy ending, I like to refer to it as the FOREVER ALONE series.

But I really love this song, seriously. The story, the art and specially the interesting music. It sounds very different, very 19th century-ish. And there is accordion used, if my pathetic ears aren't mistaken. So it sounds French-ish too >w< I'm bad at using words, okay?
