ccc---'s Video Games Collection

This is a video featuring the biggest part of my video games collection.

I got a Philips Videopac G7000 at Christmas 1982 and moved on to an Atari 130XE in autumn 1985. After I bought my first PC in the early 1990s I noticed that this is not the real thing and started collecting the old games, first only for Videopac, to complete my library from the 80s, later also for other 8 bit systems.

Problem was that I always had stored my collection in banana boxes in the cellar of our appartment. To enjoy my collection I had to go down in the cellar, open the boxes and put the games out. Non-satisfying. Three years ago my grandma, who lives only a few minutes away, told me that she had a room which she doesn't use anymore. That was a great opportunity to use it as a video games room. Finally I could put my games in shelves. Very satisfying!

What is not in this video? Atari Lynx and Jaguar (those are in the basement right under the video games room), all the loose carts, most of the hardware, my Atarisoft collection and some other minor systems.
