@TheStJames23 That is not about to happen. The Universe's expansion is accelerating, it's not slowing down. Therefore it's impossible for it to collapse, since it will never stop growing and it will only grow faster and faster.

Why is it that if I said, say:
"I've got a magic genie in a lamp at home that only I can see, and he's real, and he's promised that if each wednesday I don't eat rice and pat my head 3 times then after I die I get to play video games for the rest of tim"
You'd look at me sideways and call me a fucking nutter. Yet change a few of those words around for similar things (genie to god, pat head to pray, wednesday to sunday), then HELLO we have a normal religious person.

@Indigohue okay, I can respect your beliefs, although I feel I should point out that the big bang wasn't an explosion, it was an expansion. (Not attacking, I just see this mistake everywhere) Also, I don't think everything came from nothing. I believe that all the matter in our universe was always here. And that the 'big bang' will eventually be followed by a 'big collapse' where once the universe age nears its end, everything will 'collapse' back to this singularity. Then, big bang repeats.
