  • I saw and danced to Billy May's Band at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, Mid 50's. GREAT

  • Actually this is not Billy May's tune or arrangement. He transcribed Sy Oliver's arrangement and rerecorded it with a studio bigband for the album "Lunceford in Hi-Fi.

    Still great though....

  • BILLY MAY kicks ass!

    great song!

  • As the pianist for the world famous Glenn Miller Orch., I can attest to Billy's genius. He wrote the way he played! I can't say enough about his talent.

  • The beginning kind of sounds like Kalamoazoo.

  • thank you laney, good to know there are a few people out there who like a swing tune or two.
