I saw and danced to Billy May's Band at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, Mid 50's. GREAT

Actually this is not Billy May's tune or arrangement. He transcribed Sy Oliver's arrangement and rerecorded it with a studio bigband for the album "Lunceford in Hi-Fi.
Still great though....

As the pianist for the world famous Glenn Miller Orch., I can attest to Billy's genius. He wrote the way he played! I can't say enough about his talent.
