Paul's 84 Chevrolet Citation in mid restoration, it has changed a bit since the video was taken, the spoiler and antenna are gone, it has a full 1985 X-11 black interior. The 3.4 is currently out of it but it will be going back in for spring 2011. It`s very clean, basically needs a new paint job so it`s not 3 colors.

  • I think the X11 only came in 2dr hatchback, right? Never seen an X11 notchback, before.

  • @boofdfast The notchback was only available in 1980, 1983 and 1984. in 80 the X-11 package was only an apperance package, in 83 and 84 you could order your Notchback with all the X-11 goodies. X-11 hatchbacks were available all years. The one in the video, is just a normal 84 notchback, it had a normal interior with a 2.5 Iron duke. Now it has a camaro crate 3.4V6 pushing 200hp (more hp to come), a better exhaust system, lowered suspension, a full 85 X-11 black interior and X-11 rims.

  • doesn't look like a x-11 to me

  • @77winkleman it`s not, it`s a clone. I have more X-11 parts on it now, like the full 85 X-11 interior. this video is old. I`m working on it right now, she will be back on the road in April, I`ll post a new video then. =)

  • Great car! I live near Quebec! Never knew they made a notchback X-11!

  • @streetroyalty1 yes they did! They are quite rare though, this one is just a clone, but just as good, even better with that bigger engine ;-)

  • @CanadianCitation Can you please tell me how you went about lowering it? I have a 1980 hatch and would like to mildly lower it without giving up the nice ride..

  • @CanadianCitation Nice. Congrats, to you for restoring and daily driving an old school car. I, too, am restoring and daily driving 2 old school cars... an 81 Toyota Corona(not Corolla) and an 87 Nissan/Datsun 200sx notchback coupe... both are RWD. I plan to try to restore them by spring/summertime. Good Luck, on restoring your classic. Keep the old school ALIVE. ;)

  • @brucekirk89

Bien merci beacoup pour ce beau commentaire!

  • Ok, technically speaking, it's not. When Pierre-Paul got it it was just a regular 84 Notchback with a 4 banger, he installed most of the X-11 goodies on it, mostly suspension bits, the engine is a crate 3.4L V6. It was to be an X-11 clone if you will, they did make 84' Citations X-11 from the factory. I own the car now, not to sure what I'll do with it yet, needs a frame bolt rewelded, and I have my own 85' X-11 to fix up, should be ready by next spring, video of that beast to come. thanks
