Amazing sounds! Would this be possible without the 2.0 upgrade?

@olofschroder you could get the same sounds (2.0 made only very minor changes to the sound engine) but at most only 4 sounds at once. The 2.0 upgrade is what adds drum maps giving you 8 sounds mapped across the keyboard. so 8 "zones" times 4 slots = 32 sounds max at once.

a lot of what you hear in the video (the parts that sound like beats) are me playing multiple drum sounds across the keyboard at once. the drum sounds themselves are all normal sound engine sounds, nothing special to 2.0

@909techno and by "at once" i should specify 32 sounds to choose from at once. the polyphony is of course limited to 12 i believe. but you could in theory have access to 32 sounds across the keyboard at once.

mine came with it pre-installed. i believe i've seen them on ebay (rarely). perhaps clavia might have some idea who still has them.

@edjwise yes autechre did use this keyboard lke ack in 1997 or so when the NORD first came out. maybe early cause INCINABULA sounds might of come from this NORD. I have this NORDLEAD and let me telL you its great when we sample stuff from it and incorp with other new key boards like the GAIA.
