  • A different meaning for "piped music" in a department store!

  • I'd like to see that tie -- oh what's that I hear?! BACH in the store? On a monster pipe organ? Forget the darn tie!!

  • It is a wonderful experience to go and hear this wonderful organ. Go on a Saturday. During the week the Macy's offices are open and they like to keep the organ volumn down. On Saturday, the offices are closed and the organist can let it all out.....

  • Wow! all the buttons and things! I think i'll stick to playing the harmonica.

  • Wish I'd been there. I bet the place has good acoustics.

  • Someone asked howto get a flowing melody going from one keyboard to the next. And, although I am NOT an accomplished organist, I have learned a few techniques. First, it really helps to have LARGE hands. Then you must hang onto the one manual, and then stretch that hanae to the next manual or keyboard. If you watch Diane Bish carefully, you can see her do this.

  • one of my favorite pieces! fabulous!

  • very cool billy!
