This mission can be a pain in the ass, and playing it from the alternative side is even worse when you have to take out that lance commander.

@Jukkaimaru i wish longtoms could load shotgun shells. . nothing better than a battleship scale shotty

I use infinite ammo option so I can play as a catapult, longbow, ect. and not run out of missiles and be totally useless.

vehicles take only one ppc, hit shift+c to enter toggle fire mode (it cycles the weapons in your selected group group)

@Jukkaimaru Not if Harmony Gold has anything to say about it. They did issue that cease and desist order to Piranha Games.

I don't normally complain much about differences between the computer games and the tabletop, but this here has always been one point that bugged me badly. In the tabletop, LBX autocannons can load and shoot normal autocannon rounds in addition to the shotgun rounds. It's something I kinda hope the upcoming Mechwarrior reboot game puts in, honestly. XD

As you saw you used up so much ammo on that one Argus at the end because of the weakness of the LBX...namely it's a shotgun so the damage spreads out over distance. Which is why I'm much more a fan of the Clan Ultra AC 10/20's. Yes it's heavier and uses up ammo at a faster rate but for my money they hit WAY WAY harder and if you have decent gunnery skills getting shot in the centre torso by a pair of Clan Ultra AC 10's is almost always worth a yellow/orange damage reading.

also you might want to try using the large laser over the PPC in some cases
such as this Atlas
free up some tonnage with minimal loss
Thaks for advice, I just don't rely on rockets too much, that's why I always try using LRM20 instead of LRM15 or LRM10. I'll try to make some changes though)
