yeap, v8 take too much gas and it's slower than a v4! so i rather not show off to have a freaking big engine and freaking slow when racing!

@toejambfutbol Actually there are cars with V4 engines, like the Saab 96 or the Ford Taunus. But today you often find them in motorcycles instead of cars.

You are correct that there were V4 cars in existence in the world. I should have been more specific by saying show me a modern V4 car in the US that is successful. They are a bad design because some require balance shafts for smooth operation. And some don't even consider the V4 in those cars you listed to be a true V engine since the pistons dont share a common throw on the crankshaft like all true V style engines do.

Once you learn how to read, come back and reread the comments. I was the one who corrected someone else, for incorrectly stating that the SRT was a V4. I was the initial comment saying that you can't get a V4 in any modern car in the US. I am a mechanical engineer that works daily in engine research and development. I know my engines, so wait to talk trash until you go to college. Bro...
