i was at this concert yesterday and i have to say i disagree completely. They were amazing live!! way beyond any of my expectations and Jared sounded great and i honestly do think that they sounded even better live than on the album :)

i'm sorry you were disappointed, but i'd recommend you to go see them in a real concert cause the acoustic is always way better in a concert hall than on festivals, at least based on my experiences.. and of course every gig can't be a huge success, they're only humans too :P but then again we're all allowed to have our opinions :)

i saw them at pinkpop festival 2007 and i have to say that the gig disapointed me. what annoys me is that i go to listen them, not the crowd. and that's try it's good that the crowd participate but not so much! some songs he sang just few parts :( and i still think that jared sounds better on cd.

If you base your opinion on these video clips on youtube, i can understand why you would say that jared doesn't sound good live, because the sound quality is nothing compared to what it actually sounds like live. But if you've never even seen them live, how can you possibly criticise his live singing?? and yea he lets the crowd sing too at times, but why is it a bad thing that he lets them participate...doesn't bother me.

ou you think so? ha i think that you haven't heard lot of good live music. I like their music but didn't bought tickets because of this. band plays well but jared let the crowd sing and doesn't use his own voice.
