i have quit doing this live on stage, the reason being that audiences don't give a damn about the method, the reason this is online was so it could reach the right audience.. at home

I will however post other routines from a few years ago soon from cargo in london that worked well.

i would also like to add that it is more effective to use ableton and a good controller, using an mpc and loopstation, cd deck 2 turntables and fx pedal is just not worth it for this use..

its all from records/sampler

i should add that i used..

2 turntables

1 cd player

1 mpc sampler

all feed into a dj mixer then into an fx pedal then into the boss rc20 loopstation pedal.

@dj2tallcom damn that really bums me out. CCuz you are one of the best at this method of live beat creation. To hear that you don't get the responses it deserves is really sad. I love seeing this method. So you are saying its better to just stock pile a bunch of premade material and launch it with ableton? That's how everyone does it tho these days. Ehh.. how is it not work it? the lugging around of the gear when you get the same crowd reaction when doing it with ableton?

if i'd seen that live i would of gone crazy, i love it man... at 1:35 wow, man that shit is ill, unwell, bronchitic, feverous, dyspeptic, diabetic and other synonims of sick... is there a name to that technique of scratching, when you fuck with a melody loop, if so let me know and It would be much appreciated if you could send me the loop to understand better the process of it... I hope to keep in touch, i've got some interesting offers ...
