Galactic Butterfly - Earth's Sunrise

Taking some of the compositions I created whilst back at college, and adding a few specially composed, I created this, my first concept album, it contains a common New Age theme whilst retaining a familiar style throughout. As the title suggests I watching a documentary on Mayan culture when several themes and ideas began to form in my head.

I'm a big fan of nature documentaries, so to begin this album I decided on going with a very interesting blend of ambient-like sounds and styles creating a very nice soundscape which gradually builds and developes over time, this piece is meant to signify the birth of a new culture and it's first steps into this world.
