From your basic lying, cheating, no-good scum to those relationships that were doomed from the start (they were married to different people), to a man who faked his death, Relationship Obits is a voyeuristic romp through the unexplored underbelly of love and life. Kathleen Horan founded relationshipobit.com when a big breakup was followed two weeks later by the death of her father. Writing her fathers obituary made her wonder what it would be like to write one for the end of her relationship. The website was born and thousands began to put their love to rest online. Hilarious, raw, socking, and poignant, this collection is a true celebration of love in all its manifestation.

I wasnt ready for it, but she moved in anyway. Then we were Peanut Butter and Jelly: a great team, the model of a great relationship, two people who enjoyed nothing better than being together; until we werent, it wasnt, and we didnt.

She found her soulmate too early in life. She didnt know how good she had it. She thought all men would treat her the way he did. She was dead wrong.

Mary and Steves four-year on-again, off-again relationship died suddenly of shock when Mary asked Steve if he had any intention of marrying her.

  • Actually it was a different journalist with the same name who was murdered!!

  • Sadly, this journalist was recently murdered in her S.F. apartment. Tragic, and a horrible loss. I pray for her family, and I pray that her murderer will be caught! It was a random killing--he didn't even know her! Just a sick, sick person!
