@brokenboddy I am using the Hauppauge 1192 WinTV-HVR-1950 USB 2.0 Hybrid TV Box with Windows Media Center. It works on both Vista and Win 7. I have the FIOS box component video connected to the WinTV and then USB to the PC. I am controlling the Media Center with a Media Center remote that I had purchased separately. Do not use the WinTV program, but you will need the driver, your best bet is to download the latest drivers from the hauppauge website. I have HDMI out from the PC to the TV.
