T.Rex meets Mr. Machine in this cardboard sketch of an idea for a wooden automata featuring linkages and a crank slider. Stop-frame animation made with ImageMagick's 'convert' utility and bash shell scripts on a 1GHz AMD CPU with 256MB RAM, running Debian GNU/Linux. The Gimp was used to make the title and credit screens. Pix for the animation were taken with an old Canon PowerShot 350 that has a 2MB CF memory card, mounted on a tripod, using room lighting (two overhead 4ft 34W florescent tubes). Animation consists of 16 frames repeated 5 times.
