4. Click on Audio I/F
5. Click on Connect*

* Make sure the Zoom H4N is plugged into an available USB port on your computer BEFORE you click on Connect.

The DISCONNECT:

  • Can I use the XLR ins when the zoom is connected as an interface?

  • @DmanAudio I'm not sure, to be perfectly honest, I've never tried using the XLR ports.

  • thank you soo much very helpful

  • @themaledancer7000 You're most welcome. I'm glad you found my little tutorial helpful. :)

  • Why the sounds play in my h4n instead to play in my pc??

  • @julisfrangus You have to switch the default device to your sound card/speakers. Once you use the H4N, Windows thinks it's the default.
