@kidman1987 hey just to let you know the slave trade was made illegal under jefferson's presidency, and fugitive slave laws in the south brought recaptured all of the escaped blacks they could. Also, don't pretend "America was OK with it". almost all of the northern population was abolitionist. Stop skewing information to make it seem like confederates weren't a bunch of white supremacists only interested in their money.
P.S. I know the confederate flag didnt specifically stand for racism

@1Sifting hey just to let you know the confederate flag stood for a mere 4 years, never once was a slave brought in on a ship under the confederate flag nor were they brought into southern ports, they were all brought in on ships under the amercian flag and sold in northern ports, also the american flag stood almost 200 yrs over slavery and was fine with it, the confederacy had it in their constitution sayin slaves had to be freed within a certain time frame, if anything burn the american flag
