I believe the singer is a longtime Toronto and area blues singer called John Dickie. If you look up Cameo Blues Band or Mississippi Hippies there is a similarity. He also plays guitar mandolin and harp but he seems to like being a frontman.

Regardless of what you guys think, He's obviously someone Jeff likes and respects enough to do this with.
Very cool version

As noted below, everyone on that stage on the night were close to Jeff's heart.
This was a great version. I love when people take a song and make it their own, rather than just copying the original.

The annoying singer is Jim Belushi.

Um sorry, but I would've known if it was Jim. Plus I don't think Jim had hip surgery two weeks before. And it looks and sounds nothing like Jim.

Is it just me or is the singer annoying as hell? Maybe he could have said "take it Jeff!" instead of smacking him on the shoulder 3x? LOLOL. I have no clue who the guy is.

I can't remember the guy's name either. But all people on stage that night were very close to Jeff. His movement on stage was limited, as he had hip surgery about a week and a half before this night. Granted he didn't have to hit Jeff in the shoulder, but I guess it was his way of letting him know the solo was coming up. Either way, Jeff wasn't deterred by it, and played beautifully as usual!
