Bridging Heaven & Earth Show # 67 with Byron Katie and Kate Wolf

Katie, since her spontaneous awakening in 1986, has been formulating a way to retain the gift of inner clarity. This way became known as "The Work." With Katie as the inspiration, "The Work" has spread worldwide, giving everyone the opportunity to experience inner freedom and peace of mind. "The Work" shows how to look at the thoughts and beliefs that keep us from living and knowing true freedom, how to see our old confusion in a new light...and how to transform into a more free and awakened being. Kate (1942-1986), a magical singer/songwriter, began in the genre of folk music in the 1970's with sensitive poetic songs such as "Back Roads", "The Lilac and the Apple", and "The Trumpet Vine", celebrating the joys and challenges of living simply and in harmony with the earth. In the 1980's, her life experiences caused her music to grow in depth and spirituality, resulting in such visionary work as "Brother Warrior", "Medicine Wheel", "Give Yourself To Love", and "The Wind Blows Wild." At the height of her fame, and as she was about to gain major national attention, she was diagnosed, in early 1986, with acute leukemia and left her body in December of that year. Her work continues to reach new listeners with its sensitivity, beauty, simplicity, and truth. Her family has honored "Bridging Heaven & Earth" by making video and audio tapes of Kate's magic available for telecast. We were also delighted to bring her gifts to you as part of Show # 56.

The Rainbow People Gathering has, for more than twenty-five years, brought forth music from around its campfires that has inspired the hearts of thousands of people. Since 1972, the Rainbow family has sponsored a yearly "Gathering of the Tribes", focused around a fourth of July silent prayer for peace on Earth. Rainbow Spirit is a prayer for peace among all nations, hope for the future, and love and respect for our creator, mother earth and all our relations. On this show, "Bridging" brought you the Rainbow rendition of "Bless the People" by Windsong.

What's with the sunglasses? Makes me suspicious. Comes across as disingenuous. I guess I need to question my thoughts on people who where sunglasses when trying to communicate. Maybe you're blind.....thoughts are funny. Thanks for the viedo!

He has sensitive eyes, I have sensitive eyes, but we're no serial killers. People can have issues with their eyes.

the guests don't seem to mind....we think they can actaully see allan's eyes through the lightly shaded glasses.....fyi....allan's eye's are very sensitive and the lights on the set are very strong.....
