The Slits dub tunes are brilliant. They def hack the balls off of any of the shitty frat boy roots revivalist bands that infest the West Coast these days

The are actually punk, they were on the go at the same time as the Sex Pistols. But their music was heavily influenced by Jamaican "dub", which is what makes them sound so unique.
