  • I think his advice about parents not pushing you mostly applies to artistic things, although there are exceptions. Art is not like medical school, or any other practical job that is all about knowing the rules; as long as you do as well as the guy next to you, you are doing a good job. However, for art, you need heart and individuality and persistence, as it is actually a very vulnerable job that needs fresh spirit and energy each day. If it starts becoming routine... it is not art anymore.

  • lol obviously you two aren't dancers or familiar with what success is. Those who understand what dancing is (and its not hard to figure out) know what he's talking about. Unfortunate for you two, ignorance isn't part of it.

  • @nineinchsalsero We are all in the salsa community. Why would you put such a comment like that?

  • His advice is not dumb .. You just don't understand.

  • His advice was dumb. If your parents push you into something that's good for you, that's not a bad thing. Once you're an adult, you should make your own decisions at that time.

  • great person....great teacher and awesome dancer...his interview is on point...all bout dancing from the heart

  • he's very talented! i had so much fun participating!! hope to see him again next year~! thanks for the video!!
