@sebreathnach 'O Snodaigh' is Padhraigh O' Snodaigh, born on the Blackbog Road, Carlow, and reared in Bridewell Lane. He is very much alive and one of his sons is a TD. It was he who started 'Eigse', but he never envisaged endowing the Church so hansomely, but rather encouraging Carlovians to learn about their pagan past... Another correction: Where €16 is written it implies €16million. . .

@gdeegan35 Well, tell your Gran Uncle that he will live in the memories of those who saw him until they die -- and that, hopefully, will be a lot longer than the wretches who wouldn't or couldn't appreciate real Gaelic art. . .

The Insider/Outsider (Governing/Governed) divide, are lines that the RC Church lays, plus the school's divide, political parties (all Catholic but in imitation of parties abroad). The secret is -- the Church owns us all, country, fertility, everything - no matter what we do. . . You will find them in schools, hospitals, law, etc.. Indeed, the Church is muscling in on ART, OPERA, Polish Security, LAND Development! Hence, Zidane and us. . . Jimmmy Doyle doesn't count, because we don't count!

Even in the fifties, when Jimmy Doyle was developing his unique talent, he could not play hurling as others did. The schools, all under Catholic control, were divided up into the 'two class' approach, and if you were in the Insider group of schools (Knockbeg, Mels, Cieran's, etc), they you played in Inter Colleges. But if you were doomed to attend the Christian Brothers, then you weren't just prevented from playing Inter Colleges with your betters, but you could be beaten at will.

'Eigse', the pagan word for knowledge, was what O' Snodaigh called the IRISH language movement before being hijacked by the Church and turned into private religious purposes. Do you know what the Chairman of the Urban District Council said when justifying the site in St. Patrick's : "We are grateful to the Church for offering us the land for free". Some people don't see the humour in it: the governed blinded by the governing class. The mystery of the Holy Trojan Horse! What a generous church!

The moral is simple. If you want to succeed in Holy Roman Ireland, don't speak pagan Galic, don't play pagan games; but rather aspire to the Zidane ideal, when even you may be chosen to play -- not for Eire Og -- but for France. David MacWilliams believes that Ireland is not governed on class terms, but rather is comprised of two classes: the Insiders adn the Outsiders. Zidane is obviously on the inside track and Jimmy Doyle is obviously not worth mentioning, even when we pay €16m for 'sport'.

And if you look at where else the €16 was spent, you will see much ado about children (who can't answer back!), an artists who paints the Kilkenny flag forty times, an excellent restaurant -- all locked away under the auspices of the Clergy. Hordes of women work for nothing, and no one dare mention a 'just' or a 'minimum wage'. And if you step back and look at the overall plan, you will see the replica of a Roman Forum. . . But nothing of Irish (native ) excellence is allowed!

Every hurling fan should make a pilgrimage to St Patrick's College, Carlow. There they can pray at the tober beannaithe erected for some €16. Upstairs a room is set aside, devoted entirely to one Zitane, A French footballer... Built with Irish money, the Roman still shows his contempt for excellence. There is not mention of Jimmy Doyle, 'The Shamrocks', 'The Blues' , 'Eire Og' or the Statutes of Kilkenny that first outlawed native pagan artists. . . €16 for a Trojan/Roman Horse!

The privileged Catholics went to Clongowes, or a similar college. No playing 'native pagan' games here! Rugby was an Insider sport -- which means the Church had you earmarked for Government and the Professions. What we see in St. Patrick's , Carlow, therefore, is the result of these Jesuitical, Opus Dei, stratagems - which were never meant to promote native culture, but to exhibit the already developed Insider/Outsider ideal.
