Body levers are an excellent movement for building significant amounts of abdominal and lower back strength; simultaneously.

An article detailing their performance is available here:

In addition, the Xtreme Rings which have been used to build much of this athlete's strength, are available here:

  • this is also called "dragon flags"

  • That is incorrect. Dragon flags are performed with an arch in the back, while body levers are performed with either a straight or hollow body position.

  • I have been wanting to try these, but I've been worried on whether or not I might develop a curve in my spine.

Is it possible for that to happen with these exercises?

  • You already have several curves in your spine! I believe that your question is more accurately stated as; will this injure me? As with all exercises; the answer depends on whether or not you are performing them correctly. However performed correctly, body levers are an excellent movement for developing core strength.

these Videos make me so jelous i want body control like that i always said big muscles do not mean strong ones.
