Nitro Sport upgraded to 3.3

This is the first video of me finally really getting to run my Traxxas Nitro Sport with the 3.3 motor installed.

Id suggest putting a slipper clutch on ur sport before doing this upgrade or else youll be replacing spur gears a lot.

I upgraded using the traxxas 15 to 2.5 upgrade kit for the rustler. It is a direct fit on the sport and holds the 3.3 as well. No mods needed

Nope a 2.5 conversion kit will also allow the 3.3 to fit. No major moddifications needed.

Ok to help some out. It has a 2.5./3.3 upgrade kit, stock black plastic pipe, and at the time had stock drive shafts in it. Now it has Jato drive shafts to eliminate the twisting or popping off problems.

The traxxas pro.15 to 2.5 upgrade kit as well as a new 3.3 motor. Even though it says 2.5 the upgrade kit is compatible with a 3.3 motor.

Nitros arent that loud when it comes down to it. Just keep the exhaust pipe on it. Open header is a different story.

It just depends on who whats to complain.

i rebuilt a .15 and ported it and a new pipe and can now out run a 3.3

@RangerRacer217 what do you mean by twisting or popping off? i can understand the popping off part but twisting?? your tellin me you twisted a shaft with the 3.3? thats crazy power dude! lol i might get me a set of those then, i have 2.5R but i dont wanna take any chances.
