A bomb in southwestern Pakistan has killed at least 79 and left more than 200 others injured, activists in Balochistan have reported.

The improvised explosive device, which was attached to a motorbike outside a vegetable market in Quetta, targeted Pakistan's minority Shia population.

Shahed Sadullah, the former editor of the Pakistanti daily in London, and a Pakistan affairs analyst, talks to Al Jazeera about the attack.
