Well I know that there were Kurdish tribes in the Sassanid empire like the ''Shabankara'' and so on, but the sources I've read says that he was Persian. But maybe his mother was Kurdish.

  • @samioa My friend, he was half Persian half Kurdish/Median, just like Cyrus the Great.

  • do not fight guys..Ardashir 1 was a great man my kurdish friend..do not dare to spread propaganda based on something you read in a book..books you can rewrite.. Ardashir ghahreman left his legacy and heritage written on a mountain his kingdom Eranshahr..referring to the kingdom of the aryan people..

we know who we are....do you know who you are??

First of all, Sassan was the founder of the Sassanid empire, you can see it in the name Sassan -* Id Empire.

second Ardashir I was not hald Kurdish he was Persian, he was born in Istakhr, which is in the Pars/Fars province. But Sassanids used Kurdish soldiers in the army but they were not any politicians.

  • Now it began to be Kurds have everything they say is kurdish zaza and very funny:)))

    Our language has evolved almost

     Because of some politicians

  • I dont think so.. Sassanid = Zaza . persian = persepolis.. Zaza and persian are just a Iraninan language not a same etnic. Zaza=Sasa's talking different it's close to mazanderani, gilaki, baxteyari and the zaza's living in turks Kurdistan.

  • PERSIAN WORLD

  • nice !
