Two, scratchbuilt, steam powered praxinoscopes

Here is a pair of steam-powered praxinoscopes. Both the steam engines and the praxinoscopes were entirely scratchbuilt by Adriane and Marc Horovitz over the course of about a year, finishing up at the end of 2009. The images were produced in Adobe Illustrator. Music is "Louisianna Belle" by Steven Foster, performed by the Highline Silver Cornet Band.
