@hydrotemplar i understand what you're saying but i think that you're missing the fact that they are performing this song to an audience. if they were to keep their musicality subtle and their movements small to where it became more of a feeling than an aesthetic that would narrow the people able to know what they are feeling to just the two of them. it would become more like blues dancing in that regard and would take away greatly from their ability to artistically interpret the music.

Freakin Love this dance! :) One of the best from both!

Just... wow!

why aren't they staying in a slot?

Is she under appreciated? I'd put her in the top 10 probably.

If you watch their cabaret performances you'll see that what they have created here is a beautiful hybrid of the WCS and cabaret styles, emphasis on the WCS. This was a spectacular synthesis.

Just beautiful... I think Mellissa is the most under appreciated female pro out there. Over the last couple years she has just been amazing.

don't get me wrong, the dance by itself is amazing, and I absolutely love these two as dancers!
but does anybody else notice that west coast and slow smooth songs like this don't usually match? (they can, but they usually don't) The movements seem way too big and overdone for the simplicity of the music... most of the song is just a guy chillin' with his guitar, but the dancing doesn't make me feel that...

Amazing ! Nothing else to add ... keep it up guys !

The only term that applies is "Poetry in Motion". There are many top dancers in WCS, but only a few that feel the music as well as these two. They are what the love of dancing is all about. Thanks, you two!!
