MAN!! This is VERY interesting because ALL of my astral projectings happened during the early morning daylight, and I wasnt mentally trying, at night NOTHING happened and I was thinking and focusing like a mofo. DAMN I'm glad Im gaining this nugget of gnosis.

The guy here is talking about waking yourself up at a certain optimal time (about 4-5AM) and then going back to sleep in order to have OBEs or lucid dreams. what i found helps is forcing myself to go to sleep a few hours earlier than usual. Even if the dream isn't lucid, at least i can usually remember it. since i went to sleep too early (for me), i then wake up right after it and write it down. daytime naps can work also. im just talking of dreams, not OBEs though.

@999seriously -- If you look online, there are a lot of sites that JUST talk about lucid dreaming and how to do it. There are some easy methods, like looking down at your hands during the day, and then remembering to do that when you are dreaming. that increases the vividness and then makes you realize you're dreaming when you do so. it's helped me a couple of times to have lucid dreams. lucid dreams are by nature vivid and usually more interesting thn other dreams.

Does watching TV include watching a computer?

I tried to induce lucid dreaming the other day. I went to bed around 3:00 a.m and woke up at around 7:00 a.m. When i woke up i felt very relaxed so i went back to bed. I then woke up again. Only this time everything was very hazy and i couldn't distinguish anything. So i thought that was a lucid dream. I felt myself waking up so i told myself to spin because someone told me it makes you go to sleep. Anyways, is this sleep paralysis or lucid dreaming? Or was i just awake.

@999Seriously lucid dreaming is an OBE

@GreeenGiantt out of body experience , its basically when you fall asleep and your spirit can leave your body and roam the earth like a gohst, only to be put back into your body when you wake up
I do this. I have been able to do this for many years. I've talked to what I would call angles while dreaming, I've been warned about things. I've been comforted about things. I think there is something more to being human then we know. Example. How can we feel a person looking at us. What's confidence... What's momentum... It's all energy. I think the dream world is something that doctors can't, or refuse to explain no doubt there is more to us then we know.
