JAMES BOND - Title sequence from Terence Young's 1965 film "Thunderball", starring Sean Connery as James Bond

Many of the iconic aspects of a typical James Bond film were established in Dr. No, beginning with what is known as the gun barrel sequence, an introduction to the character through the view of a gun barrel, and a highly stylized main title sequence, both created by Maurice Binder.

  • Embedding disabled by request ruins my day :(

  • When someone is aiming a gun at you, you have to drop down and then shoot. This is the only movie to have gotten that right, but you have to get down lower.

  • dun dun dun da daaaaaa

  • Best Bond intro

  • Great job by Tom Jones! After reading novel, theme seems to be most applcable to Largo - the villain! "His days of asking are all gone." etc. Nevertheless a very catchy theme and a pretty good movie - viva Lucianna!! What a villainess!
