Short shifting a Shelby? Won't work. you have to run her up to near red line to get the power through all the gears.
-
yeah this guy is not trying to keep up with the BMW. he is shifting like he is going to church! But aint that M5 bigger on the capacity too?
-
...this is kinda like Sadam posting a video on "HIS" version of the war.....lol,,,Only bmw guys (aka , Joe Average) would like this becuz it gives them that sense of hope that they can turn a jackass into a race horse.....lol,,,paying a mustang guy to sand bag is a sin man.....lol

WHAT GREAT SHIFTING THIS GUY HAS.... NOT!!!! I TOO SHIFT BETTER WITH MY FUCKING DICK.... AND TOES
-
driver:"hmm this motor turns 7000 RPM, i think i will shift before i even get near the power band."
yes power to weight is a huge consideration but the m5's are not putting down more than 600 HP and definately do not weigh less than a GT500.
PUT SOMEBODY WHO HAS DRIVEN A STICK BEFORE IN THE DAMN GT500!
-
thats saddd m5///!

wonder how much they paid the guy in the GT500 to short shift

I replayed this video and tried to be fair and I must agree with others on here that this guy sucks as a shifter and definately wasn't running the motor to near redline.
I have owned a 97 Mustang Cobra for 4 years now and can tell you that the SVT engine runs best and pulls harder in the higher RPM's.
This guy was shifting gears (like grandma) at about the time the engine was coming into it's power range IMO.
