Never in any way shape of form would I or any other informed person want any part of the European Union as it stands. Like every other despotic entity that has been created in human history it will failand collapse. Never in history has dictatorships been created and had the interests of the people at its heart. Unfortunately the Copenhagen treaty is a far greater threat to all nation states as it will supersede any constitution like the Lisbon treaty. Go get yourself informed.

No, we can't 'leave' whilst our politicians are controlled by the EU. And plus, these treaties mean our laws are always inferior to EU law. That means we can't just decide to pack up and go.

Imagine a bunch of people struggling to keep their heads above the waves and swimming for their lives, we'll call them "taxpayers", now imagine a bunch of people who never learned to swim, in the water with them, in far greater numbers, we'll call them "socialists". As they flail and thrash they grab onto everything to keep from dying, or at least dying alone, "how can one be allowed to live simply because he learned to swim?! He shall save me, or die too!"
