The first ever brand ambassador appointed by brand Liril from 1975-87 was Karen Lunel. The taglines that Liril had during her association were - Liril comes Alive!, Come Alive to Liril Freshness, The Freshness Soap, Makes a fresh new woman of you.
The Liril tune "Laaa...la....la...la...la..." is one of the most memorable ever in Indian advertising. Karen looked cute in the bikini, which was much ahead of its times in Indian advertising. While we all loved her playing in the waterfall, she was chilled to bones by the water.
