ooVoo's participation in the Independent Features Film Festival allowed Romulo Guardia, director of the acclaimed movie El Señor Presidente, dubbed as "the film that said no to Hugo Chavez" to participate and have a face-to-face conversation with the audience, despite being denied a passport to travel to New York by his home government. The movie, which is highly critical of Venezuela's human rights record, is one of the 23 films being showcased at the prestigious festival.
