  • This story sounds like a jumbled mess of bullshit, they shouldn't have even tried to tie this game with Chrono Trigger.

  • I'm so glad I played Chrono Cross before Chrono Trigger, to entice me to discover stories behind Cross. and judge and love the game as a standalone. and not become one of those rambling fanboy buffoons below.

  • @johnzkeePW Love it!

  • WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY JUST SAID? men fuck this shit. I rather not have any chrono trigger sequel if this is the result.

  • @SkellionPowalskiz It's actually pretty interesting. I remember when I was younger I was pretty pissed that this and the ending were the only tie-ins to Chrono Trigger. I was a "real" sequel. However, as an adult gamer I really appreciate the complex story of Chrono Cross, even if it is a bit convoluted at times (mainly the end). This game has very interesting characters, and the best RPG music I've ever heard, and that's saying something.

  • Needs more Frog.

  • @dinoman96 *right over head gesture*

  • @xtortugaviejox uh no. Cross's story was actually done by Trigger's writer Masato Kato.

  • Chrono Cross was the death chatter of the Chrono series. 10 minutes of dialogue for what?

Chrono Trigger is still the best RPG Square ever made sad but true.

Too bad Square Enix had a stick up their bum and pulled scare tactics on the (Chrono Resurrection) development team. The remake they made looked a hell of a lot better than this freaking mess did.

End thoughts on to happy place. LOL

    .

  • @andoc And it really doesn't RD, was released in Japan or not, especially since as you said they're Fan translations out there. It does not make it ANY LESS, Connected to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.

  • @andoc Chrono Trigger was Easy to follow Simply BECAUSE it was the first story. The Instant they decided to continue it (And Like in Classic Square Tradition at the time they NEVER used the same characters from previous games, which could also explain it.) Is the instant that ANY Time based series goes insane. Yes I don't like Chrono Cross NEARLY as much as Trigger, but I'm not going to fault it on something that is common for Sci Fi based stuff.
