Perhaps it is a gearing issue...I have a 950 Adventure that I have had above 130mph at the Thunderhill race track in N. California...and the Supermoto 950R will spank my bike. Its a sick bike for sure...to bad the US cant get the new 990 Supermoto....I would be trading in the Adventure if I could.

realy? i read an artical in dirt rider that said that the most that they got it up to was 115mph in top gear. they also said that it wasnt completely reved out though. and it could have been geared different.

You are wrong. It will exceed 115mph...140 is pushing it but 130 is for real.

I don't personally have one, my neighbor has an Orange and black one. He has had no problems with it at all. And he rides it to work most every day.

I got mine for 12k euros around 15k usd.
it's legal on the streets, I ride it every morning going to work :) It's a wild beast !!
Max speed I ever touched is 215 km/h on the highway
