For SF State students in Prof. Heiman's IBUS 590 class: International Business Environment Analysis.
This is a briefing on Reader Paper 1a on Design Thinking. We propose a generic Design Thinking model, supported by internationally diverse historical samples.
THIS IS PART 1 of 2 only!
After watching this segment, please also view the conclusion--Part 2 (it was too long to make into one YouTube Video. The next one will be shorter: promise ;-)
Hint: If you want to write a critical note on this paper, the video gives several hints on areas that would be good. One more: Although the examples are international in flavor, and are used to support our assertion that the model is generally applicable, what international issues are missed/ignored in this discussion? Cultural? Economic? Other? Where is any sense of international comparison or unpacking of international aspects of innovation? How could this be fixed? (make a positive suggestionor two).
If you are not an IBUS 590 student and you like this material and want to know more, the video gives my email at the end of Part 2.
